FIELD: chemistry; pharmaceutics. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing pyridines used as initial compounds in synthesis of pharmaceutical preparations, herbicides, surfactants, vulcanisation accelerators of rubber, ion-exchange resins, and so forth. Method involves reaction of ethanol, formaldehyde and ammonia in the presence of treated 0.1–0.3 n. solution of citrate of zeolite H-Beta, at 200–400 °C and bulk feed rate (w) equal to 2–14 hours -1 . Ethanol:formaldehyde:ammonia molar ratio is 1.0:0.8:1.5. n EFFECT: method according to the invention enables to obtain pyridines with high content of picolines and lutidine and low content of "heavy" compounds in reaction products. n 1 cl, 1 tbl, 9 ex |
