abstract FIELD: fancy goods; jewellery. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of decorative bases containing decorative elements, for example, precious stones. It can be used for making, for example, watches or jewellery. To install at least one decorative element on base is obtained base, having at least one recess, and filling the recess with composite filler containing at least one metal powder and at least one organic binder and at filling moment with viscosity in range from 1,000 MPa⋅from up to 1,000,000 m⋅Pa⋅sec. After that, composite filler is heated to temperature higher than melting point and cooled to form substrate in crystalline form. Said substrate has at least one seat and a decorative element. n EFFECT: possibility of installing a decorative element on a fragile base, as well as expansion of the colour palette and possibility of selecting colour of the substrate to the base colour. n 16 cl, 9 dwg, 1 tbl
