titleOfInvention Method of manganese heap bioleaching of manganese-containing materials
abstract FIELD: technological processes.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bio-hydrometallurgical processing of hard-enriching poor manganese-containing mineral raw material and can be used in ore-dressing and metallurgical industries for processing of manganese-containing natural ores and technogenic materials. Method involves formation of a stack of heap bioleaching of manganese-containing mineral raw material by alternating layers of ore and layers classified by size of a mixture of stale or current production of pyrite and pyrrhotine concentrates with preliminary pelletisation of fine fractions of said products. Bioleaching of the pre-acidified pile is carried out with a solution of a bacterial complex from strains of thionic iron-oxidising microorganisms A. Ferrooxidans, thionic sulfur-oxidizing microorganisms A. Thiooxidans and Archaea Ferroplasma acidiphilum. Increase in extraction of manganese from support ores to commercial output is 20–55 %.EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of processing of manganese-containing mineral raw material.6 cl, 3 ex
