abstract | FIELD: veterinary medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and is intended to assess the biological usefulness of an incubation egg, the risk of reducing the hatchability and preservation of chickens. Method for predicting hatchability and preservation of chickens includes the selection of eggs by random sampling from chickens of one risk group, the determination of the content of malonic dialdehyde and stable metabolites in the yolk and protein and a statement of the low fullness of the egg. Presence of a risk of reducing hatchability and preservation of chickens is indicated by the content of malonic dialdehyde in the yolk of at least 36.0 nM, stable metabolites of nitric oxide in the yolk of less than 3.0 mM NOx/gram of protein and a protein content of less than 1.0 mM NOx/gram of protein. n EFFECT: method increases the informativeness of the assessment of the quality of the hatching egg, makes it possible to predict the risks during the incubation period and the first days of the chickens' life, which improves the hatchability of eggs and the quality of the hatchlings. n 1 cl, 1 ex, 2 tbl |
