titleOfInvention | Method of artificial reproduction of african catfish (clarias gariepinus) |
abstract | FIELD: fish-breeding. n SUBSTANCE: method includes hormonal stimulation of females and males by suspension of the pituitary gland, selection of genital products from producers, fertilization and incubation of eggs. Fertilized swollen eggs are placed in trays filled with water, with constant water exchange. After the incubation is completed, keeping and growing the larvae and growing the fry to the average daily weighed from 0.1 to 1.0 g in the same trays continue. Hormonal stimulation of females and males is carried out by the suspension of the pituitary gland of the African catfish. After stimulation of producers, selection of genital products is carried out after 12 hours. Egg fertilization is carried out by mixing it with a bird feather for 30 s. Then the eggs are treated with a solution of tannin with a concentration of 6 g/l with a solution temperature of 27–28 °C for 20 s. Eggs treated with a solution of tannin, are washed with water at a temperature of 27–28 °C 3–4 times. Then the eggs are transferred to the incubation frames and placed in trays with a water temperature of 28.5–29 °C to a depth of 1–2 cm, with water exchange 0.3 l/s, followed by removal of the frame for the incubation of eggs 24 hours after the completion of the incubation. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the method of artificial reproduction of the African catfish with an increase in the quantity and quality of the yield of fish seed. n 1 cl |
