abstract FIELD: pharmaceuticals. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pharmaceutical chemistry, in particular to a method for producing benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride monohydrate and a pharmaceutical substance based on it, which can be used for the production of medicinal, disinfectant and cosmetic preparations and creams with antiseptic action. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that benzyldimethyl[3-(myristoylamino)propyl]ammonium chloride (BDMPAC) monohydrate is obtained in two chemical stages – the reaction of myristic acid with 3-dimethylaminopropylamine followed by benzylation of the resulting 3-dimethylaminopropylamide myristic acid with benzyl chloride, which results in the desired BDMPAC monohydrate. Inventive method allows the process of obtaining the target BDMPAC monohydrate and pharmaceutical substances based on it without prior purification of the initial reagents and without isolation of intermediate products. n EFFECT: technical result is that the claimed method provides for obtaining high purity monohydrate BDMPAC with a high yield using a simple and safe technology with a significant reduction in the number of technological stages in comparison with the known methods. n 4 cl, 12 ex
