abstract FIELD: biochemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Method for producing virus-like particles (VLPs) based on the human papillomavirus L1 protein (HPV) is described, including: (a) cultivating transformed yeast expressing HPV L1 protein; (b) performing ammonium sulfate precipitation in the product of transformed yeast cultured in step (a) to obtain a precipitate; (c) treatment of the precipitate obtained by precipitation with ammonium sulfate, NaCl, KCl or NaCOat a concentration in the range from 0.35 to 0.60 M, followed by incubation and removal of the resulting insoluble proteins; and (d) performing chromatography on the product obtained in step (c) to obtain virus-like particles (VLPs) based on the human papillomavirus L1 protein (HPV).EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of methods for producing virus-like particles based on human papillomavirus L1 protein.8 cl, 19 dwg, 4 ex, 3 tbl
