abstract | FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Invention is a method for combating the larvae of the Colorado potato beetle (Leptinotarsa decemlineata), including the use of insecticides based on nucleic acid, selectively acting on the larvae of insects of a certain type, where preliminary processing of potatoes is carried out with the “AKTARA” preparation-insecticide on the basis of the active substance thiamethoxam, after which on the third day, the insect larvae are subjected to contact treatment with an aqueous solution of a short 17 nucleotides with length of the antisense fragment of the DNA of the CP450 gene (cytochrome P450-dependent monooxygenase) of the Colorado potato beetle with the sequence 5'-TGAGAATACTAACGAGA-3' and in a concentration of 150 pmol/mcl in such a way that at least 1 mcl of solution enters the larva of the I–II age. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the toxic load on the environment and increase the effectiveness of the effect on the Colorado potato beetle. n 1 cl, 1 ex, 4 tbl |
