abstract | FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing a desired perfluorinated product with a high yield in a fluorination reaction of a partially fluorinated ether. Method for producing a fluorinated compound comprises step (I) of reacting compound (1), represented by the following formula (1), and compound (2), represented by the following formula (2), to obtain compound (3), represented by the following formula (3) (in which fluorine content is at least 30 % by weight), and step (II) of fluorinating compound (3) in liquid phase, obtaining compound (4) represented by the following formula (4), where R A : divalent saturated hydrocarbon radical or partially halogenated divalent saturated hydrocarbon radical, R B , R C and R D : R B represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as R BF , monovalent organic group, which is converted into R BF by a fluorination reaction, a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom; R C represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as R CF , or a monovalent organic group, which is converted into R CF by a fluoridation reaction; and R D represents the same fluorinated monovalent organic group as R DF , or a monovalent organic group, which is converted into R DF by a fluorination reaction, X 1 : halogen atom, R AF : a group in which all the hydrogen atoms in R A are substituted with fluorine atoms, R BF : when R B represents a hydrogen atom, R BF represents a fluorine atom; when R B represents a halogen atom, R BF represents the same halogen atom as R B ; and when R B is neither a hydrogen atom nor a halogen atom, R BF represents a fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from R B , and when it is different, R BF is a group which is R B fluorinated, R CF : fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from R C , and when it is different, R CF is a group, which is R C fluorinated, and R DF : fluorinated monovalent organic group which is the same or different from R D , and when it is different, R DF is a group which is R D fluorinated.
