FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: method for differential enumeration of lactic acid bacteria in a dairy product is disclosed. Method includes inoculation of aliquots of a dairy product into culture dishes containing a chemically defined agar medium and chromogenic substrates producing different colours of the analysed colonies of strains Lactobacillus paracasei subsp. paracasei, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus; then they are cultivated in selective conditions and the colonies of different colours are counted. n EFFECT: method allows to specifically differentiate and count the strains of lactic acid bacteria in the dairy product. n 9 cl, 14 tbl, 1 ex |
