titleOfInvention Anatomically intelligent echocardiography for point-of-care
abstract FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to the visual guidance of a user for adjusting the location and orientation of an imaging probe. Device for adjusting the location and orientation of an imaging probe comprises imaging probe and a user-guidance processor configured for dynamically arranging presentation of visual feedback for guiding manual adjustment of the imaging probe, wherein the device is configured to detect a pause in manual adjustment, and the arrangement is selectively based on the orientation of the anatomical segment in the current visibility zone of the imaging probe, wherein said orientation is determined in real time after detecting a pause in manual adjustment; determined by another visibility zone of the imaging probe based on the orientation of the anatomical segment and the current visibility zone; and comparisons between the visibility zones of the probe and the corresponding segmentation results of the image data obtained by the probe. Computer-readable medium embodies a computer program for providing a user, that manipulates an image forming probe, with guidance for adjusting the location and orientation of the image forming probe, wherein said program includes instructions executed by the processor. Device for providing a user, that manipulates an imaging probe, guidance for adjusting the location and orientation of an imaging probe, comprising at least one integrated circuit and adapted to, through one or more of said at least one integrated circuit, detect a pause in manual adjustment of the imaging probe; dynamically arranging visual feedback representation to provide guidance on manual adjustment of said imaging probe.EFFECT: use of inventions widens the range of tools for using ultrasound data for diagnostic and subsequent examinations of the heart.16 cl, 8 dwg
