abstract FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for the preparation of a synthetic fissurella hemocyanin (KLH). Method of producing fissurella hemocyanin (KLH) comprising the steps of: a) dissociating native KLH to obtain sub-units, b) nanofiltrating the sub-units obtained in step a) using filters with a pore size between 15 and 35 nm; and c) associating the sub-units obtained after nanofiltering to obtain the synthetic KLH. Method of producing immunocyanin. Synthetic fissurella hemocyanin (KLH), obtained by the above method. Synthetic immunocyanin obtained by the above method.
