titleOfInvention | Vacuum ring for formation of a graft of an isolated donor descemet's membrane and its transplantation in patients with endothelial corneal dystrophy |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. For formation of an isolated donor descemet membrane transplant and its transplantation, patients with corneal endothelial dystrophy use an elastic vacuum ring with a diameter of 8–10 mm, 1–1.5 mm wide, 1 mm thick with a vacuum channel 0.75–1.0 mm wide and 0.5–0.75 mm deep, connected to a syringe with a spring piston, which is fixed to the endothelial surface of the cornea. n EFFECT: invention simplifies the procedure for separating the isolated descetent membrane from the donor's cornea, reduces the risk of culling the donor corneas, by reducing the likelihood of their rupturing during the preparation, and also facilitates the simplification of the descetene membrane transplantation procedure, which allows for wider application endothelial keratoplasty descemet membrane in the treatment of patients with endothelial dystrophy of the cornea. n 1 cl, 3 dwg, 2 ex |
