abstract FIELD: physics; biotechnologies. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of isotopically-labeled substances and can be used to introduce a radioactive label into proteins in order to study their behavior in various systems, including biological ones. Method for the preparation of tritium labeled proteins is described when using atomic tritium as the labeling agent obtained by thermal catalytic dissociation of tritium molecules on a tungsten wire. Principal difference between the proposed method and the previously described ones is that the protein is first applied to carbon nanomaterials and then treated with atomic tritium. When the reaction with atomic tritium is carried out, the temperature of the walls of the reaction vessel is maintained in the range 291–298 K, with cooling to 77 K only the lower part of the vessel on which there is no substance. n EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain tritium labeled proteins with increased specific radioactivity up to 9,000 Ci/mole. n 4 cl, 4 ex
