The present invention relates to a composition of methacrylic resin for contactless welding with a heated plate, to a molded product and to a method for its manufacture. A composition of methacrylic resin for contactless welding with a heated plate containing a methacrylic resin containing from 80 to 99.9% wt. monomeric esters of methacrylic acid and from 0.1 to 20% wt. links at least one additional vinyl monomer, copolymerizable with a monomer of methacrylic acid, and having an extrapolated glass transition start temperature (° C) of 120 ° C or lower, as determined by the glass transition curve obtained by heating from 40 ° C to 210 ° C , at a heating rate of 10 ° C / min in accordance with JIS-K-7121 using α-alumina as a reference, in an atmosphere of nitrogen gas, using a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), where the methacrylic resin composition has a rate of s melt flow (MFR) 2,5 g / 10 min or less at 230 ° C under a load of 3.8 kg. A molded article, an element for a vehicle, a method for producing a molded article are also described.
