FIELD: motors and pumps.SUBSTANCE: present invention provides pumping system 1 with preheated tank 2, main pump 4 for transferring preheated liquid 3 from tank 2 and pressure boosting means 5 for increasing the pressure in tank 2. Preferably, the pressure boosting means sets an absolute pressure in the reservoir from 0.5 to 1 bar. Liquid 3 in tank 2 can be heated to 90 °C or higher.EFFECT: invention achieves almost complete suppression of the phenomenon of cavitation at the inlet of the main pump and thus achieves an increase in pump performance at elevated fluid temperatures.25 cl, 9 dwg |
