FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide reforming catalyst comprising an oxide support which comprises hexaaluminate in the form of β''-aluminate and particles of metallic nickel. Oxide phase of the catalyst comprises at least 65 to 95 wt% of the main phase containing nickel hexaaluminate and at least one interplanar cation selected from a group consisting of barium, strontium and/or lanthanum, wherein the molar ratio of the interplanar cation to aluminium ranges from 1:6 to 11.75, and from 5 to 35 wt% of the crystalline oxide secondary phase containing at least, LaAlO 3 , SrAl 2 O 4 and/or BaAl 2 O 4 , and wherein the content of nickel in the catalyst is ≤3 mol%, wherein nickel metal particles have a polyhedral structure and, in the form of a build-up, are finely distributed on the surface of the oxide support, wherein the average particle size of nickel is less than or equal to 50 nm. Invention also relates to a process for the preparation of a catalyst, which comprises the following steps: (i) preparing a mixture of metal salts, preferably nickel nitrates, as well as strontium and / or lanthanum, with a source of aluminium in the form of nanoparticles, (ii) moulding and (iii) calcining. Invention also relates to a process for reforming hydrocarbons in the presence of carbon dioxide. n EFFECT: technical result is obtaining an active catalyst that is resistant to coke formation and resistant to aging. n 11 cl, 3 tbl, 6 dwg |
