titleOfInvention Method for treatment of oral candidiasis in patients with removable prosthetic restorations by solkoseril and chophytol drug products
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for the treatment of oral candidiasis in individuals using removable laminar dentures. According to the proposed method, in addition to a standard set of therapeutic measures, including correction of the basis of the denture, treatment of inflamed areas of the soft tissues of the prosthetic bed with a 3 % solution of hydrogen peroxide, followed by application of 10 % methyluracil emulsion, Solkoseril dental adhesive paste is used at the rate of 1 cm of the length of the paste strip per 1 cm 2 of inflamed mucosa of the prosthetic bed 3 times a day after meals and 1 time before bedtime in combination with the Chophytol drug product inside, 1 tablet 3 times a day before meals. Duration of the course of therapy is two weeks. Method allows to eliminate clinical manifestations of the negative effect of Candida fungi in the oral cavity of patients in the presence of removable prosthetic restorations: reduce the inflammatory response of the mucous membrane of the prosthetic bed, namely to eliminate such event as hyperemia, swelling and soreness, thereby improving the quality of life of patients with complete or partial lack of teeth. n EFFECT: treatment of oral candidiasis in patients using removable laminar dentures. n 1 cl, 1 tbl
