titleOfInvention | Briquet for obtaining ferrovanadium |
abstract | FIELD: metallurgy. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to production of briquettes for smelting of ferrovanadium. Briquette contains as vanadium oxide vanadium precipitated from the solution a vanadium pentoxide concentrate, and as a binder a mixture containing a metal phase of vanadium slag converter in the form of dispersed iron, oxide component of the vanadium slag converter and the correction slag forming additive, with the following component ratio, by weight: oxides of vanadium on the calcined substance – basis; carbonaceous reducing agent 2–8; binder 0.1–12.0; ratio of the dispersed iron and the oxide component of the converter vanadium slag in the binder is 1:(0.02–0.5), and as a corrective slag-forming additive, materials containing calcium compounds in the form of lime, limestone or fluorspar in an amount of 0.01–0.5 by weight of the binder by calcium oxide are used. Use of the briquette allows to increase the extraction of vanadium by 0.3–0.7 %, reduce the aluminum consumption by 25–30 %, refractories by 12–15 %, thus there is no need to obtain vanadium pentoxide in a fused form. n EFFECT: invention allows to create a briquette with required strength in the raw and heat-treated state. n 4 cl, 2 tbl |
