titleOfInvention Method of examination of children with distrophic form of congenital epidermolysis bullosa
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatrics, and can be used in the examination and management of children with a dystrophic form of epidermolysis bullosa for the timely diagnosis of food allergies. Comprehensive examination of children additionally includes allergological examination and determination of serum sIgE concentration as probable cause-significant allergens, conduct an assessment of heredity for allergic diseases, evaluate a dietary history, including information on the types of feeding, the timing of the introduction of foods and complementary foods with an assessment of the response to these products, the characteristics of mother's nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, features of the child's diet, assess the physical development of children using the WHO application program package, taking into account the values of Z-scores: body weight for age (WAZ), body length (height) for age (HAZ), body mass index for age (BAZ), and in the presence of sensitization to potentially significant food proteins and/or in the presence of a clear causal relationship of the emergence of clinical manifestations of food allergy with the use of the product/products and with a positive effect from the diagnostic elimination diet, the patient is diagnosed with food allergy and, taking into account the data on the presence of sensitization, form the optimal diet with elimination of the causally significant proteins. n EFFECT: invention makes it possible to diagnose food allergy in a timely manner in children with a dystrophic form of congenital epidermolysis bullosa and, accordingly, to form a diet with the exclusion of the necessary cause-significant proteins, contributing to the reduction of manifestations of food allergy and the improvement of nutritional status. n 1 cl, 2 tbl, 1 ex
