abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to abdominal surgery, and can be used to control the effectiveness of hemostasis in traumatic injuries of organs and structures of the retroperitoneal space. Before suturing the operating wound in the case of intraoperative arterial hypotension, a temporary increase in systolic blood pressure to 140 mm Hg is performed. by intravenous administration of sympathomimetics in a suitable dose. After 30 seconds, repeated examination of damaged organs and structures is performed for the presence of continuing bleeding. In absence of bleeding, the introduction of sympathomimetics stops or reduces their dose to the vital blood pressure figures. In presence of bleeding, additional methods of hemostasis are used. n EFFECT: method provides increase in accuracy of assessing effectiveness of hemostasis in retroperitoneal bleeding due to intraoperative correction of arterial pressure. n 1 cl, 2 ex
