abstract FIELD: instrument engineering. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of instrument engineering and is used in the determination of azimuths. Gyrocompass with a visual channel contains a computer interconnected by means of connecting electrical cables, a block of electronic devices and a gyroscopic part in the form of a sealed enclosure containing an angle sensor (AS), cardan suspension (CS), CS drives, thermostat, in which the gyroblock and tiltmeters are installed. In this case, a gyrocompass contains a theodolite containing a manual drive and servo drives, two tiltmeters, located on the target tube of the theodolite, and two angle sensors, the theodolite is located on the rod so that the outer axis of the theodolite lies on the same line with the longitudinal axis of the rod, at that, the gyroscopic part is installed at one end of the rod so that the CS outer axis is rigidly fixed to the rod on one line with its longitudinal axis with the possibility of the CS frame rotating around the longitudinal axis of the rod, on which the first RC of the theodolite and the RC of the gyroscopic part are installed, they ensure, respectively, fixing the angles of rotation of the theodolite telescope and the CS frame around the longitudinal axis of the rod, second RC of the theodolite reads the angles of the slope of the pipe to a plane perpendicular to the outer axis of the theodolite. Support device is configured to position the longitudinal axis of the rod in a vertical position. Thermostat is mounted on the inner axis of the gearbox, while the heating elements and thermoelectric modules on Peltier elements are built symmetrically on it relative to the center of the gyroblock. Block of theodolite, made with the possibility of receiving a signal from the theodolite and transmitting a digital signal to the computer, is introduced into the electronic devices unit. Block of electronic devices is placed in a hermetic case with thermostatic control and an optical reflector is installed on the end face of the internal axis of the theodolite. n EFFECT: technical result of the claimed invention is the expansion of the functionality and the improvement of the measurement accuracy due to the fact that vector of azimuth to an external direction keeper is transmitted directly without additional instruments, as well as the expansion of the admissible temperature conditions of the external environment due to the introduction of thermoregulation on Peltier elements. n 3 cl, 1 dwg
