titleOfInvention Method for palladium recovery from the acidic copper-containing solution
abstract FIELD: technological processes. n SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the recovery of palladium from the acidic copper-containing solutions. Feed solution is treated with the oxime type extractant in the form of a 20–40 wt% solution of the extraction reagent based on ketoxime, aldoxime or on the mixture thereof in the diluent at the pH of 0.2–2.5 and the ratio of O:B = 1–5:1. Parent solution may be chloride, nitrate, sulfate or mixed. As a result of the extraction treatment, copper and palladium pass into the extract, from which copper is reextracted with the sulfuric acid solution, and after extracting the copper, the extractant is recycled in order to reprocess the parent solution. After accumulation of not less than 0.05 g/l of palladium in the extractant, the palladium is reextracted with the concentrated solution of hydrochloric acid with the concentration of 8–12 mol/l in the presence of 0.1–0.3 mol/l of hydrogen peroxide at the ratio of O:B = 1:1–5. n EFFECT: increased concentration of palladium, increased degree of its recovery and reduced volume of material flows. n 5 cl, 6 ex
