| abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmosurgery. To fix the intraocular lens (IOL) in the eyes without capsular support with the anterolateral or pupillary IOL installed during endovitral interventions with a tamponade of the vitreal cavity by one of the vitreous substitutes (CT) when performing endovitral interventions before the tamponade of the vitreal cavity, an additional fixation of the IOL to the sclera with a needle thread is performed, which is carried out twice over the anterior surface of the IOL, retreating 1–2 mm from the edges of the optical zone.
