titleOfInvention Diagnostic method for spondylarthrosis of the lumbar spine
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used to diagnose spinal fossa of the lumbar spine. To do this, the indicators are quantified. Onset of the disease: gradual – 2 points, acute – 1 point; age over 35 years – 1 point. Localization of pain: below the lumbar spine without irradiation – 2 points, with irradiation to the buttocks and hamstrings or to the anterior surface of the abdomen and the groin area – 1 point; absence of neurologic symptoms – 1 point; morning stiffness of movements in the lumbar spine – 2 points; reduction of pain, stiffness in the lumbar spine while warming up – 1 point; symptom of “flexion-extension” – 2 points, intensification of pain intensity with the appearance of an axial load on the lumbar spine – 1 point, restriction of movements in the lumbar spine – 2 points, saccade rectification of the lumbar spine – 1 point, local tenderness in palpation in the area of arcuate joints – 1 point; neuroradiologic changes of the articular joints – 1 point, positive symptom of the blockade – 2 points. Scores obtained are summarized and for a total of 10 or less, it is determined that the cause of pain in the lumbar spine is not spondyloarthrosis. With a total of 11 or more, the cause of pain in the lumbar spine is spondyloarthrosis. In this case, the blockade of arcuate joints is performed with a mixture of local anesthetic and glucocorticoid on both sides in the previously marked area of the spinous procession to the interarticular slot of the arcuate joints. n EFFECT: method provides the most accurate diagnosis of the source of pain in the lumbar spine, the cause of which is spondyloarthrosis, by evaluating specific criteria, the choice of which is pathogenetically conditioned. n 1 cl, 1 tbl, 3 ex
