titleOfInvention Method of differential diagnosis of red lichen planus and lyceoplacy of the oral mucosa
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and concerns differential diagnosis of red flat lichen and leukoplakia of the oral mucosa. Method includes an immunohistochemical study of the biopsy of the lesion focus. New is the fact that they are conducting a study to determine the localization of the expression of the cell adhesion molecule of E-cadherin. In this case, when the membrane expression of E-cadherin is detected in the range of 99–100 %, the membrane-reduced expression is within the range of 0–1 %, absence of membrane-cytoplasmic expression and absence of lack of immunoreactivity are diagnosed with red lichen planus. When the membrane expression of E-cadherin is detected in the range of 80–98 % and the membrane-reduced expression is within 2–20 %, the absence of membrane-cytoplasmic expression and absence of immunoreactivity, expression of the protein of the proliferative activity of Ki67 is determined and when localizing cells expressing Ki67 only in the basal layer is diagnosed with red lichen planus, and when the cells expressing Ki67 are localized, in the basal and supra-basal layers, leukoplakia is diagnosed. When detecting membrane expression of E-cadherin within 30–79 % and membrane-reduced expression in the range of 7–20 %, as well as membrane-cytoplasmic expression in the range of 30–50 % and detection of the lack of immunoreactivity in the range of 20–50 % diagnose leukoplakia. n EFFECT: method is highly informative, provides more accurate diagnosis, as a result of which all patients are immediately assigned adequate effective treatment, which leads to a rapid recovery. n 1 cl, 4 ex, 6 dwg
