titleOfInvention Method of treating narrowing of lacrimal ducts
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To treat narrowing of the lacrimal passages, a metal probe is first introduced through one of the lacrimal canals. Conduct it along the entire length of the tear ducts to the outlet in the region of the mouth of the nasolacrimal duct. Dissect the mucous membrane of the nasolacrimal duct from the mouth to the bone portion of the nasolacrimal canal and resect a section of the mucosa 3–4 mm wide along the incision. Formed flaps are turned to the sides. Using a probe, one end of the lacrimal implant is inserted into the lacrimal canaliculus and removed from the nasal cavity, and the probe is removed. Then pass the probe through another tear duct, through which the second end of the lacrimal implant is carried out and withdrawn from the nasal cavity. Both ends of the lacrimal implant are held together, and extubation of the lacrimal implant is carried out after 3–4 months. n EFFECT: method provides correction of the narrowing of the tear ducts at all levels, including the mouth of the nasolacrimal duct, and the prevention of scarring in this zone due to a combination of bicancular sensing and the corresponding conduct of a double lacrimal implant with excision of the mucosa in the mouth of the nasolacrimal duct and subsequent plastic formation of the nasolacrimal duct mouth. n 1 cl, 1 ex, 4 dwg
