titleOfInvention Method for predicting the course of sensorineural hearing loss
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, and can be used to predict a progressive course of sensorineural hearing loss (SNT). To do this, the distal radius of the radial bone of the non-dominant forearm of the patient is examined, in which the value of the T-test characterizing the bone mineral density (BMD) is determined. Patient's blood serum is also examined, in which the concentrations of calcium total (Cat), mmol/l, ionized calcium (Cai), mmol/l, and bone alkaline phosphatase (MCF), mcg/l, are determined. Provided the two conditions are observed together: T<(-1), Cat<2.18, Cai<1.11 and KVF<34,2 predict a progressive course of CNT. n EFFECT: method allows to predict the progressing current of SNT with a high degree of accuracy with its simplicity, high efficiency and accessibility. n 1 cl, 3 ex
