titleOfInvention Method for predicting the efficiency of treatment of hepatitis c with the children of the first year of life
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to clinical laboratory medicine, and concerns the method for predicting the effectiveness of treatment of hepatitis C in children of first year of life. Practice essentials: before starting the antiviral therapy in a child polymorphism of genes is determined, coding IL28 (γIFN) rs809917 and rs12979860, and in the presence of: - homozygous forms [TT] for the gene rs809917 and [CC] for the gene rs12979860 - prognosis is laudable, - forms [TG] or [GG] for the gene rs809917 and [TT] or [CT] gene rs12979860 - unfavorable prognosis .MEthod allows in advance, prior to treatment, to adjust therapy, to predict its effectiveness and, thus, to identify a group of children, for that therapy is strictly indicated because of the very high chance of a cure before the onset of complications, and a group for that the chance for success of the therapy is minimal, and, taking into consideration the duration and relative cost of drugs in case of absence of efficacy, treatment is not advisable. n EFFECT: proposed method is simple and can be widely used in clinical practice in hospitals and diagnostic centers. n 1 cl, 2 dwg, 2 ex
