abstract | FIELD: measurement technology. n SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the determination of an analyte in a biological fluid medium. Electrochemical analytical test strip for the determination of an analyte in a sample of a biological fluid medium is provided comprising: the first sample receiving chamber comprising: the first sample application hole; and the second sample application hole; the first electrode disposed in the first sample receiving chamber between the first sample application hole and the second sample application hole; the second electrode disposed in the first sample receiving chamber between the first sample application hole and the second sample application hole; the second sample receiving chamber that intersects the first sample receiving chamber between the first electrode and the second electrode, thereby forming an intersection of the chambers, and at least the first working electrode, the second working electrode and a counter electrode / reference electrode disposed in the second sample receiving chamber.
