FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method for alcoholic cardiomyopathy simulation, including forced alcoholization of animals with 10% water solution of ethanol within 13 weeks, subsequent selection of animals with high preference for alcohol and continued alcoholization until the end of the 24th week from the beginning of alcoholization. Technical result: by the end of the 24th week, dilated alcoholic cardiomyopathy is formed, which is characterized by a significant inhibition of the contractile function and a statistically significant dilatation of the left ventricle; at the end of the 24th week of rats alcoholization, the threshold of electrical ventricular fibrillation decreased by 47%, the level of gamma-glutamyltransferase in blood plasma of alcoholized animals was three times higher than that of the control ones. n EFFECT: proposed cardiomyopathy model quite fully reflects the situation observed in the clinic in patients suffering from alcoholic cardiomyopathy and can be considered as a translational model of this disease. n 3 dwg, 3 tbl, 4 ex |
