FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: bioengineering structure for recovery of diseased or damaged tissues is described. This structure comprises mesenchymal stem cells and an extracellular matrix layer produced by the said cells that are grown in a medium with a predetermined chemical composition free of i) animal sera and animal tissue extracts, and ii) virus-free or interspecific viruses, to produce the said extracellular matrix layer, which synthesizes and collects these mesenchymal stem cells. The said culture medium comprises (i) a basic nutrient medium, (ii) a transforming growth factor alpha (TGF-α), (iii) insulin, (iv) L-glutamine or L-glutamine derivative, and (v) ascorbate or an ascorbate derivative. n EFFECT: invention can be used in therapy aimed at recovery of diseased or damaged tissues. n 16 cl, 17 dwg, 13 ex |
