FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental pharmacology and ophthalmology, and can be used to prevent ischemic neuropathy of optic nerve. Method involves modeling the ischemic neuropathy of the optic nerve by daily intraperitoneal administration of N-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester (L-NAME) in Wistar line lab rats at a dose of 12.5 mg/kg for 28 days and a single intraocular pressure rise up to 110 mm Hg within 5 minutes. Pharmacological correction of the pathology is carried out by injecting carbamylated darbepoetin subcutaneously into the withers area at a dose of 300 mcg/kg of rat weight once (1 time) per 3 days. Injection is carried out in 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, 28 day of the experiment. Wherein L-NAME is administered 30 min after the administration of carbamylated darbepoetin. Prophylaxis of ischemic neuropathy is confirmed by the results of ophthalmoscopy, laser-Doppler flowmetry and electroretinography for 29th day of the experiment. n EFFECT: proposed method allows to effectively prevent ischemic neuropathy of the optic nerve, which is confirmed by high values of retinal microcirculation level and restoration of electrophysiological activity of the retina. n 1 cl, 1 ex, 1 tbl |
