abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: prior to the non-penetrating deep sclerectomy (NDSE), the depth of the anterior chamber of the eye is determined according to biometrics, the refraction of the cornea is determined according to autorefractometry, the minute volume of moisture is determined according to the tonography data. The volume of viscoelastic is determined by the formula: where V is the volume of viscoelastic, ml, p is the depth of the anterior chamber, mm, K is the refraction of the cornea, dptr, F is the minute volume of moisture, mm 3 /min. n EFFECT: method allows to prevent hypotension, hyphema and blockade of the surgery area by the iris root with microperforation of the trabeculo-descemet's membrane during non-penetrating deep sclerectomy, by reducing the intraocular pressure in the physiological range. n 2 ex
