abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: catalyst based on aluminosilicate zeolite ZSM-5, which is characterized by a molar ratio of SiO 2 /Al 2 O 3 , equal to 23-80, the residual content of sodium ions is less than 0.1% and modified with zinc oxide in an amount of 1.0-4.0 wt % (in terms of zinc). Modification of zeolite is carried out in three stages: in the first stage - by impregnation with a solution of acetate or zinc nitrate, in the second stage - by calcination zinc-containing zeolite at 300-600°C, and in the third stage - by treatment with a solution of ammonium fluoride. A method for the dewaxing of a hydrocarbon feedstock using the inventive catalyst is also provided.
