titleOfInvention Method of extended ennucleation in prepared formes of conjunctival melanoma
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: for treatment of patients with common form of conjunctival melanoma enucleation is carried out, including the execution of blepharorrhaphy, 2-3 tractions suturation on the eyelids, eyelid skin incision, departing from the ciliary edge 2-3 mm, split of skin-muscular and tarsal-conjunctival eyelid plates all over toward the bony orbital margin without breaking the conjunctival sac. After the split of skin-muscular and tarsal-conjunctival eyelid plate tarsal-orbital fascia is dissected and orbit around the full circumference of the bony orbital margin is entered. Extraocular muscles are isolated and their tendons are cut off from the eyeball, pulling the eyeball on itself with the surrounding tissues of the orbit by the traction sutures. Intersection of the optic nerve is conducted at a distance of 10-12 mm from the posterior pole of the eyeball. Removal of the entire allocated tissue block is performed as a single unit. The hemostasis is performed and the preserved fragments of the skin-muscular eyelid plates are sewn by a continuous suture over the orbit cavity. n EFFECT: method reduces the trauma of intervention and the amount of cosmetic defect in the orbit area, reduces the risk of relapse and surgical complications. n 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 1 ex
