titleOfInvention | System of eye implant delivery |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: delivery device for eye implant delivery to the eye contains: a proximal portion of the handle; a distal delivery portion attached to the distal end of the handle portion and configured to releasably hold the eyer implant, an actuator attached to the device that releases the eye implant from the delivery site when the actuator is driven. The conductor is connected to a part of the device that contains a spring, a moistening element attached to the handle portion. In this case, the eye implant is an elongated member with one or more internal lumens. The delivery area comprises a protective tube positioned axially over the conductor. The conductor includes a holding member along the conductor length, which facilitates eye implant retention along the conductor length. The holding member has a sinusoidal configuration along the conductor length. At that, the sinusoidal configuration comprises a curved element configured to provide interference fit between the conductor and the internal lumen of the eye implant. The device is configured to retract the conductor when the actuator is driven. The moistening element is configured to slowly return the conductor when the actuator is driven. n EFFECT: expansion of the arsenal of technical means, namely devices for eye implant delivery to the eye. n 13 cl, 25 dwg |
