abstract | FIELD: biotechnology. n SUBSTANCE: oligonucleotide biochip is proposed to identify the genetic determinants of N. gonorrhoeae resistance to antimicrobial drugs including fluoroquinolones, penicillin series antibiotics, cephalosporins, tetracyclines, macrolides, spectinomycin, and a set of oligonucleotides to be immobilised on a biochip. The biochip is a substrate with grouped elements containing 2 cells that do not contain probes to calculate the background signal, 3 cells with an immobilised marker for correct biochip positioning, as well as cells with immobilised oligonucleotides that determine the affinity of the analyzed DNA to N.
