FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: isoprenol-based copolymers include: (a) 5 to 40 wt % of isoprenol, (b) 5 to 93 wt % of, at least, one monoethylene unsaturated monocarboxylic acid having 3 to 8 carbon atoms selected from acrylic acid and methacrylic acid, its anhydride or a salt thereof, and (c) 2 to 90 wt % of one or more sulfonic acid-containing monomers selected from 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid and allylsulfonic acid, copolymers are prepared by polymerizing the monomers (a), (b) and (c) in the presence of a redox chemical initiator and a regulator at a temperature of 10 to 80°C. The redox chemical initiator contains hydrogen peroxide, an iron salt and sodium hydroxymethanesulfinate or sodium 2-hydroxy-2-sulfinatoacetic acid as a reducing agent. The method of production and various applications of copolymers are also claimed. n EFFECT: achieving a high inhibition percentage of sedimentation in aquiferous systems. n 9 cl, 1 tbl, 11 ex |
