abstract | FIELD: measuring equipment. n SUBSTANCE: bulk material is poured onto the conveyer belt and fed to the receiving device. The bulk material during transportation is carried past the first sensors, which measure gamma radiation spectrometrically on the width of the conveyer belt. The following steps of the method are provided: determination of the ratio of radionuclides in the bulk material before filling onto the conveyer belt, considering at least one reference nuclide, calculation of radioactivity of the bulk material based on the gamma rays measured by the first sensors and their intensities, taking into account one or more reference nuclides present in radionuclides, verification of the previously determined ratio of radionuclides and/or measured radioactivity with the help of measuring α- and/or β-radiation of the second sensors, which are located above the belt conveyer. n EFFECT: ability to accurately determine radioactivity at high throughput. n 17 cl, 6 dwg |
