titleOfInvention Method of estimation of cloud reservoirs over the ocean by data measurements of satellite microwave radiometer amsr2
abstract FIELD: physics. n SUBSTANCE: values of radio brightness temperatures are obtained from four radiometric channels having frequencies of 18.7 GHz horizontal polarization, 23.8 GHz vertical polarization, 36.5 GHz horizontal polarization and 36.5 GHz vertical polarization. Cumulative humidity values are calculated using a relationship which takes into account brightness temperature values and coefficients of a set-up Neural Network. In this case, numerical values of the mentioned coefficients are obtained by mathematical modeling of the outgoing radiation of the Ocean-Atmosphere system and carrying out a numerical experiment using Neural Networks as an operator for solving the inverse problem. Moreover, in the modeling of radiation, the model of the dependence of ocean radiation on the wind speed is used. n EFFECT: high accuracy of estimation, wider range of application conditions.
