titleOfInvention | Method for colibacteriosis treatment and prevention in broilers chicken |
abstract | FIELD: veterinary medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method involves growing of a storage culture of Chlorella vulgaris strain IGF No. C-111 for 24 hours in a nutrient medium with a cultivator at an ambient temperature of 25-27°C, round-the-clock illumination of 900-1000 lux to reach a maximum cells titer of 40-50 million/ml. The nutrient medium includes 1 g of ammonium nitrate; 1 g of 10% superphosphate; 0.15 ml of 1% ferric chloride; 1 mg of cobaltous nitrate; 1 mg of copper sulphate; 40 ml of a bacterial suspension per 1 l of tap water. Further chlorella cultivation is carried out in a transparent glass fermenter with a volume 100 l with culture stirring by constant bubbling with non-sterile air by means of an air compressor until the maximum cell titer is reached. Then the resulting suspension is concentrated by centrifugation for 10 minutes with a rotor turnover of 3000 per minute. Then the obtained chlorella concentrate is introduced into the broiler chicken ration for no more than 7 days at a dose of 1.5 ml per head. n EFFECT: method allows to lower the titre of conditionally pathogenic microflora and increase the titer of aboriginal microorganisms of the gastrointestinal tract of birds, to increase safety and live weight growth of broiler chicken. n 5 tbl, 3 ex |
