titleOfInvention | Artificial liver tissues, artificial tissue matrices and methods for their preparation |
abstract | FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: artificial living three-dimensional structure of the liver tissue is described. The structure comprises one or more layers where each layer contains one or more liver cell types, and one or more layers are combined together to form a three-dimensional living liver tissue structure. For some versions, such structures are characterized by having at least one layer comprising multiple cell types, different cell types are spatially arranged relative to each other so that they form a flat structure; and among these layers, at least one layer has composition and architecture different from at least one of the other layers forming a flat structure. Matrices and methods for their manufacture are also described. This invention also provides a three-dimensional living artificial liver tissue structure. The presented invention may be used in medicine. n EFFECT: improvement of one or more liver functions by tissue introduction in vivo, or tissue application in an in vitro device. n 34 cl, 37 dwg, 9 ex |
