FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: method is used to predict the risk of posttraumatic sepsis in patients with severe craniocerebral trauma (SCCT). By CT and/or MRI a neuroimaging study of the hippocampal region is performed regardless of the SCCT location. If there are ischemic changes in the hippocampal area, a decrease in the hippocampus size and a decrease in its density, regardless of the SCCT location, sepsis development is predicted. n EFFECT: method ensures prediction of sepsis development in patients of this group with evaluation of the state of brain structures, hippocampus region, which is actively involved in the immune response. n 11 dwg, 4 ex |
