titleOfInvention | Flexible joint connection device for submersible motors and pump sections |
abstract | FIELD: engines and pumps. n SUBSTANCE: flexible joint connection device for submersible motors and pump sections contains a ball joint with a spherical body and a cover. The shafts of the electric motor and the pump are connected through a cross. The upper part of the cross has a spherical surface and loose rollers, moving in the longitudinal grooves of a coupling. The coupling has splines for the pump shaft and a spherical surface in its inner cylindrical part. The spherical surfaces of the coupling and the cross are in contact with each other. The grooves are located in the lower cylindrical part of the coupling. The device comprises of a spline coupling, which, together with the cross piece and the coupling connecting the spline part of the pump shaft, transmits the torque from the electric motor to the pump. The device has a stopper with a rod that enters the hole on the side surface of the ball joint and a rubber ring providing protection of the friction surfaces of the ball joint from abrasive particles. n EFFECT: ensuring the required degree of freedom of movement of the motor and pump relative to each other in the place of their connection. n 2 cl, 4 dwg |
