titleOfInvention Four-quadrant transformer
abstract FIELD: electricity. n SUBSTANCE: four-quadrant converter comprises a six-arm semiconductor bridge, a semiconductor bridge control system including a modulating signal source, a sawtooth signal source associated with a delay element, a timing and inverting mode determination unit and a semiconductor bridge key generation unit, a single-phase transformer with a partitioned secondary winding of two series-connected sections, the primary winding of which is connected to a sinusoidal source of voltage through the supply network, as well as two throttles, a smoothing capacitor with a parallel connected load. The block for determining the timing and inverting modes is performed with the inputs of the modulating signal (M), the sawtooth signal (P1), the ramp signal with a delay (P2) and with the outputs of the inverting or clocking signals in the secondary section sections. The signal generating unit for opening the keys of the semiconductor bridge is made with inputs of the inverting or timing modes in the secondary section and with the outputs of the opening signal of each semiconductor bridge key. The secondary winding of the transformer extreme conclusions through chokes and central directly connected to the input of semiconductor bridge, which connected to the output load and smoothing capacitor. The outputs of the control system are connected to the control electrodes of the corresponding bridge keys. n EFFECT: reduction of power losses in the secondary winding of the transformer due to a reduction in the rate of current change in the section of the secondary winding of the transformer when the clocking mode is in it. n 5 cl, 6 dwg
