abstract | FIELD: electricity. n SUBSTANCE: method of producing coatings of titanium carbide on the inner surface of the copper anode of the transmitting tube includes formation of a titanium layer on the inner surface of the copper anode and coating of titanium carbide of a metal plasma through titanium cathode sputtering with vacuum arc discharge in carbon-containing gas, which is supplied to the treated anode cavity on the side of the coaxially located sputtered titanium cathode. The titanium layer is applied with a thickness not exceeding 1/3…1/4 of the thickness of the TiC layer, and then annealing is performed. n EFFECT: multicomponent layer of titanium carbide is created, which ensures quality of the formed protective coating of the TiC high-melting metal and simplifies the technological process of its production, and provides the possibility of forming a coating on a given treated area. n 2 dwg |
