titleOfInvention | System and method for advanced fluid extraction from gas wells |
abstract | FIELD: oil and gas industry. n SUBSTANCE: well system is controlled to cyclically increase or decrease the gas pressure in the casing string annulus, thereby cyclically reducing the bottomhole pressure in the well in response to the pressure decrease in the casing string annulus and allowing for an increase in bottomhole pressure in the well in response to the increased pressure in the casing string annulus. Thus, fluid production from the productive formation is increased during the cyclic pressure reduction inside the casing string annulus and fluid discharge by the well pump is increased during the cyclic pressure increase in the casing string annulus. Furthermore, the gas interference due to the foam formation inside the casing string surrounding the well pump may be reduced by liquid displacing from the foam over an extended pressure period in the casing string annulus. n EFFECT: increased efficiency of control over the fluid extraction from a gas well. n 21 cl, 5 dwg |
