abstract | FIELD: chemistry. n SUBSTANCE: method for producing an aluminium-containing coagulant comprises the reacting of aluminium hydroxide with sulfuric acid, maintaining the reaction mixture at a temperature of 120-125°C and the crystallization on the moving chilled surface. The reaction of aluminium hydroxide with sulfuric acid is carried out in the presence of nepheline concentrate at a ratio of aluminium hydroxide to the nepheline concentrate at the ranges of parts by weight of 2:1-3:1, respectively. In the process, aluminium polyoxysulfate is produced. The coagulant providing the possibility of water treatment mostly in the cold season represents an aluminium polyoxysulfate with the basic substance content of 14-18 wt % in terms of Al 2 O 3 , the active complex of polysilicic acid in an amount up to 10 wt %. n EFFECT: invention allows to increase the coagulant efficiency. n 2 cl, 2 tbl, 1 ex |
