titleOfInvention Device for orbital floor defects and deformations plastics and method for its application
abstract FIELD: medicine. n SUBSTANCE: device consists of a trivalve plate and a T-shaped plate, comprising a flat rectangular strip and a beam formed as a triangular prism, with one truncated side edge. The device is installed with the central valve smaller base towards the top of the eye socket, and then a exophthalmometer is used to determine the level of eye emergence relative to the fellow eye, and if the emergence value differs from that of the fellow eye, then an extra plate strip is pulled, and its beam lifts the upper tab, which displaces the eye anteriorly. Exophthalmometer controlled pulling is continued until a symmetric eye projection is reached. The device is fixed to the infraorbital edge periosteum by means of U-shaped sutures through the holes along the central lobe bigger base and extra plate strip holes, and the free end of the strip exiting the cavity, is folded around the infraorbital edge and fixed with U-shaped sutures to the periosteum, then the remaining free end of the strip is cut. n EFFECT: group of inventions allows symmetrical eye projection, provides orbit cavity insulation from the maxillary sinus. n 2 cl, 3 dwg
